Galt Gardens Revitalization, Lethbridge

Galt Gardens is the 'Central Park' of Lethbridge and played an important role in the City's social life until the advent of suburbanization in the 1950's and 1960's. The revival of the Park is linked to the current trend to strengthen the entire central core of the City and develop a strong identifiable heart in downtown Lethbridge. The Park aims to encourage high participation rates throughout the year for a wide range of users by providing for a variety of recreation opportunities.
